I had one hell of an experience with Tom and my buddy. I definitely will do this again, the amount of knowledge and experience Tom has is amazing. A must do fishing trip experience here in the Pacific north west.

Tom put us on fish when nobody else on the river was catching. He worked his tail off to make our trip memorable. Even dug out some old school techniques that aren't used much any more to get us fish. Thanks Tom.

Drift fishing is something I've contemplated on doing for a while now, just was unsure how i'd like it...All I can say is WOW! Why did I wait SO long to give it a shot?!? This may have just ruined ocean fishing for me haha! When you've got an opportunity to have a guide of Tom's caliber teach and assist you with the ways/techniques of river fishing it really brings the experience to a new level! I mean the knowledge of how to get on the fish and setup in different parts of the water was incredible! {Not to mention the scenery alone is amazing!!} Tom @ Action NW WORKS his ass off to keep the boat fishing nonstop {when you've got the LEGEND dogging in your rig that ain't an easy task haha!} All jokes aside, Tom thanks for the memories! We had an absolute blast and will be coming back soon! As to anyone contemplating going down the river....hook up with this guy YOU WILL HAVE THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE!!

First and foremost - Thank you Tom for an awesome day of fishing and the memories. First steelhead ever for my Father-in-law and I!!! We went 3 for 4, losing only a monster at the side of the boat, which was my fault. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry! Tom is a knowledgeable and seasoned fishing guide. Balancing knowledge and experience, Tom knows how to put you on the fish...and how to put fish in the boat. Tom is an incredible instructor, teaching the gear, rigging, and techniques for landing fish. He is safe and has situational awareness in and out of the boat. His boat and equipment was second to none, which made our trip comfortable and rewarding. I can provide no higher recommendation for a guide. Tom is my guide of choice. The best part of the trip was getting to know Tom and sharing my story with him. I now call him a friend. I'll be booking a trip again soon with Tom at Action NW Guide Service - this time it will be for trophy steelhead. Tom is a great guide who never stopped working always trying to put us on the fish. It rained all day and the river conditions were not all that great and he still got us on 3 bright chrome steelhead and we landed all of them. I'll definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of going on a trip with Tom this past year, and I have never found anyone more knowledgeable of the habitat of any of the local species than Tom, or of the techniques required to catch your limit. Tom sees to your every need before, during and after the trip and handles his boat with skill and expertise. The avid fishing expert and novice alike will benefit from how personable and professional Tom is as he makes the entire trip a joy and a memory you soon won't forget. If you don't catch fish then no one is catching fish. I have found no one better than Tom and I have been all around these United States! I recommend him highly, there is none better!
